Personal Finance Coach: Cassandra

I am a mother, a Nana of two amazingly beautiful and talented grandchildren, an educator, a personal finance coach, and a Christ follower.

This blog came out of my experience as a single mother, navigating the rewards and challenges of life. At one point in time I needed someone to help me with my finances, so I begin to study and pray. With God's help I found Dave Ramsey and learned how to be a good steward or manager of my income. This excited me so much that I was inspired to help others experience financial freedom through financial money management.  After writing a financial literacy grant for my students, I decided to expand my reach to people in my church and community. The testimonies of how people were able to eliminate debt, save and invest were the fuel I needed to continue this labor of love. Now, I have an extensive library which includes courses and books designed to help others on their personal finance journey. 

As for the blogs, God and my children inspire me to become a better person every day. As I began recalling all the funny stories and mini lessons that I encountered during my parenting, it became evident to me that others may benefit from my trials and re-dos. l don't consider myself an expert on the topics that I will write about in this blog; for they are simply my experiences, and admittedly I am still learning and growing. I aspire to be the best example of a kind, responsible, and caring Christ follower for my children and grandchildren.
